A recently renovated barn in Wellington, Florida, offers a compelling take on the she-shed. See how the new space embodies tranquility. After living on the property for some time, the homeowner wanted a new space to fit a yoga studio, lounge, and bar. With ample barn space, Surfside Contracting converted part of the tack room into a she-shed.

When you walk into the space, you are met with bright natural light and organic elements. To capture the tranquil feel of the space, the designer incorporated live walls, wicker décor, light wood, and neutral furniture. The bamboo ceiling adds a touch of warmth and texture to the space, while Fleetwood sliding glass doors bring in natural light and frame expansive views of the outdoors.

The use of Fleetwood sliding glass doors not only provides a practical solution to seamlessly integrate the indoor and outdoor spaces, but also adds to the overall aesthetic and atmosphere of the yoga studio.

“The sliding glass doors completely transformed the space,” said Scott Bussard, co-founder at Cornerstone Companies. The new doors create an airy and bright atmosphere that seamlessly blend the inside and outside. The doors provide a smooth transition from the indoor space to the beautiful surrounding landscape, allowing natural light to flood the interior. The grey tint of the glass also adds a layer of privacy to the space, while still providing a clear view of the outside.
